A Bunch of TikTokers Admitted Their Lies Just Before TikTok Went Dark

When we all thought that TikTok was going to go dark permanently in the U.S., a bunch of famous TikTokers made posts about things they had lied about. For instance, one TikToker who became famous for making fancy, elaborate ice cubes admitted that she did not use them. Another girl who regularly made posts about dating a billionaire revealed that she had not, in fact, actually dated a billionaire. Beauty guru Meredith Duxbery, who became famous for slathering her face in 10 pumps of foundation for every look, admitted that she usually wiped most of the foundation off.
They apparently forgot that other social media platforms existed and that Trump might bring back TikTok. Because now the platform is alternately cackling and up in arms about the ridiculous shit that these influencers lied about.
