Holland produced the Apple TV+ show (Emmy Rossum played his mom) and starred in it. Notoriously, it was around the same time Holland decided to go sober. He doesn't detail what or where the animosity came from but notes his drinking would only have made the situation worse. Holland mentioned how difficult of a role it was and that it ultimately led to him taking a break from acting.
