I actually get not wanting to uproot the kids for a job that’s only 6 months. If he had committed for a year or two, I think it would be different.

Pulling the kids out of school & enrolling them elsewhere for 6 months would be distuptive for them.

Maybe they can go visit if they have a school break.

Well, children in Europe have a lot of holidays.

If they live in London the kids will be out of school in February, April, may and during the summer.
