Nosferatu was good. Although I can see why some wouldn’t enjoy it or even call it boring. Funny enough I watched the original earlier in the week and I feel the horror aspect was done better there than in this newer version. But I feel like the movie deserves a 2nd watch cause I always hype up Robert’s films before I watch them

what was the reason for Anna Taylor-Joy to drop out? it would have been funny to have two ATJs in this movie. I liked it. it did not drag for me. I saw it in IMAX and the visuals were stunning and I appreciated how in certain scenes there wasn't much dialog, it allowed you to be immersed in the visuals.

When I watching it I kept thinking how great his range is!!

This is the same guy that did Tony from Skins, and Nux in Mad Max!! I loved him in The Favourite!

See I need to watch Nosferatu again cause some things took me out like his accent 😂😂😅😅

[Spoiler (click to open)]I need to watch it again but I wasn’t totally feeling the choices made for his physical appearance. I saw Robert say they wanted him to look like how someone from that era would’ve looked aged and decayed after so many centuries. I guess I wanted a more common vampiric look~ but oh well.

I thought he looked a bit more like Vlad the Impaler which I think was intentional. Even made me think of Rasputin/Russian aesthetic cause of his furry hat.

But regarding the stache, that’s actually directly from Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel! He was described as having a mustache but none of the adaptations ever added it loooool!!

I kept thinking Nic looks a younger Tom Cruise. I remember he was originally supposed to be in the most recent MI film when they had a different plot.

I have to admit I enjoyed Lily and thought she held her own against the veteran talent on that film. Why I agree that some of the hysterics were a bit much, the physical stuff she did was good.

Yeah I thought her acting overall was pretty decent, I think she’s at her weakest when she has to cry which funny enough she did that well in The Idol, but emotional scenes are not easy plus she’s also gotta put an English accent on top of that. But the physical scenes were a m a z i n g!! I really believed it!

I saw it twice and i really enjoyed it. Nicholas was definitely a standout. And I was really impressed with lily’s acting especially the physical stuff. I think ATJ would’ve been great in the role too.
