I don't need glasses because I know a white man when I see one. The internet thinks every white person who can hold a tan is a "POC/White passing" and keeps dragging Italians and Spanish people into their nonsense when you go to those countries as an actual POC, and they let you know exactly who they are and you are not the same. No, it is a response to you saying "Justin could easily pass as Latino, Persian, and middle eastern." Being able to "pass" as something doesn't make you that thing.

Jews can be white as well. Race is a social construct that fluctuates over time and location. Nazis did not consider plenty of people white (not only Jews, also Roma and Slavs as well), but that doesn't mean Jews are not white in other contexts and classifications.

For example, I'm Latin American, and while I'm considered white in my home country, I've been called "Italian" (they're white I know bear with me) or "Turkish" when I have visited the US because of my features that put me aside from the Taylor Swift kind of white for example.

There are Jewish women that look like Taylor Swift. Scarlett Johanson for example is a white woman through and through AND she's Jewish.

Cool but this is again where you’re wrong. We are not a race. We are a distinct ethnic people. Ethnicity and race aren’t the same thing which is why Jews have varying complexions and features. We were historically a nomadic people who spread across many areas and over time evolved with white passing and appearing features as we intermixed with other racial and ethnic groups.

Framing Jews as white diminishes and invalidates the oppression and microaggressions we face which are far more subversive and insidious than more standard and blatant racism and other forms of oppression and discrimination.

There are Jews who self-identify as white. I am not one of them.

I agree that Jews face discrimination, that doesn't mean some of them are not white, especially if they trace their ancestry to Europe. A black jewish man like Drake will never enjoy white privilege, a white jewish man like Jon Stewart does.

IMO it's not defending him saying he is not THAT white passing. He was even cast as a latino in Jane the virgin. I know very well being latino doesn't equate not being white either but let's not pretend the average american and the people casting american TV shows know that.
