Netflix announced on Monday that it has renewed The Boyfriend, Japan's first ever same-sex dating show, for a second season.
The first season, which premiered on July 16 in the US, won over viewers domestically and abroad, landing on Netflix's weekly top-10 list of most-watched series for six consecutive weeks.
