Buzzfeed Sells "Hot Ones" For $82.5 Million

Buzzfeed has sold First We Feast, the production company that produces the internet show "Hot Ones," for $82.5 million to a group of investors. The sale will bring Buzzfeed some much-needed cash and allows it to focus on more profitable projects. First We Feast will now operate as an independent company. The show's popular host, Sean Evans, will remain in his current role and will also accept the mantle of Chief Creative Officer.
