-The Voltron movie is moving ahead and they have their cast! Lead by the iconic Rita Ora (who also has a Marvel film in the works) and also featuring Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Henry Cavill, John Kim, Alba Baptista, Samson Kayo and Tharanya Tharan.
-For some reason this will be following brand new characters instead of adapting the original characters.
Rawson Marshall Thurber shared a video message with Voltron fans during VoltCon, saying, “I want to make sure that we stay true to the heart and the spirit of Voltron. In this film, we’re going to be introducing an entirely new generation of pilots. We’ve reimagined Voltron for the live-action world, but we’re going to stay true to… those iconic elements that you love, that I love. And I’m so excited to share it with you.”
