there's something kind of poetic (and unnerving) about the kind of emerging societal zeitgeist regarding the real "enemy" - corporations, ceos, billionaires, etc. when America is literally about to turn into an oligarchy -- the next few years are going to be a rollercoaster. even on the hellscape conservative platforms they too seem to be "oh well' about his demise. honestly this has been more unifying for this country than the olympics, to quote Sinead - "fight the real enemy".

I think the last time the internet was this united was when Bob Odenkirk had a heart attack. (I’m only partially joking)

Exactly. The fact that even right wingers and Trump voters, the VERY people they worked to brainwash to vote the way they wanted, are saying this stuff should scare the hell out of the ceo's. They can't just shrug it off or spin it that it's just Dems or the "radical left" that are happy about this, it means that EVERYONE is angry.

I was shocked to see that Shapiro tried spinning it into "the evil horrible left who is trying to get trans surgeries paid for by killing health CEOS" and his fans actually...pushed back? Like, DIDN'T buy it. Do we have hope, guys? Is this hope?

It seems like a lot of folks are slowly waking up. Let's hope this trend continues.

Yes-I am like, please, please don't go back. Don't believe the next news story about how the shooter is a trans illegal immigrant or some shit. Please let's have some unity and genuine conversation.

If you’re not extremely wealthy you’ve def had an upsetting or just frustrating insurance ordeal at some point so it is a great unifier.

Even wealthier people who don’t want to pay their share of taxes resent healthcare costs and fees.

90% of people in the US will pay more into their healthcare coverage than they will ever actually have covered by their insurance. It’s an absolute scam.
