Robert Pattinson joins a stacked cast that includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o and Zendaya.
Nolan wrote the script and is directing the project, which Universal Pictures will distribute. The studio has set a release date of July 17, 2026.
Various theoretical, even divergent, details have been posited regarding the project - a period vampire thriller, a helicopter action thriller - but insiders maintain that nothing has come close to nailing Nolan’s real idea.
Damon, Holland, Hathaway and now Pattinson make up the core leads of the feature.
Nyong’o and Zendaya are said to have supporting roles.
