Gladiator 2 is getting...fine reviews, but a few people noted that lead Paul Mescal was maybe not the right casting for a big action blockbuster role

He’s really not much of a character. He’s pretty but he’s not playing a well developed character. (And he doesn’t bring anything extra to the role.)

Love him and Paul too and I liked the movie but I kinda agree to a point, they're not bad but Denzel completely steals the movie thanks to his role, it gave him more room to play, I feel like Pedro and Paul maybe went into this with a more serious approach.
