November 20, 2024 Two different celebrities have spoken up about singer Chappell Roan in their respective interviews.
During an interview with The New York Times for his new movie Queer, Daniel Craig talked about struggling with fame and brought up Roan. "I admire the guts to say those things. Celebrity kills you. Really, it's a terrible, terrible thing that can happen and I think you've got to really fight against all of the things that it throws in your face because it's so easy to be tempted. Generating and maintaining that brand is about how much exposure you have. Am I a brand? You have to do social media, and I can't do that. I even regret emails I send."
And then for her cover story with Harpar's Bazaar, Miley Cyrus spoke in defense of Chappell Roan. "I wish people would not give her a hard time. It's probably really hard coming into this business with phones and Instagram. That wasn't always a part of my life, and I'm not a part of it now. I don't even have my Instagram password."
