Nothing but love for OP because I realize it's news but I wish nothing but the absolute worst for the paps that stalked this funeral and got these shots. People really glory at your worst and it's really fucked up.

it's really sad that one of the first things i thought of when he passed was what a media circus his funeral will be

I had the same thought. This was a global superstar (even if maybe not individually) and impacts everyone. I'm glad they were able to keep the ceremony closed

I'd like to add a "fuck you" to whoever thought describing attending a funeral as a reunion was the right call.

well that one includes the OP since that was the original title in my email for this post and it’s heartwarmingly tagged as reunion

Often times we're unfortunately reunited at funerals with friends and family, I don't know what you both want from me.

i mean a gun wasn’t held to your head forcing you to make a post with paparazzi posts of people grieving in the first place idk

Quite frankly, I'm not going to tolerate you or anyone speaking to me that way and getting personal. You can go.

How was it phrased originally?

ITV said on their link that they were given permission to film outside the church so I assume all the paps there were probably cleared of the same + probably given certain rules (like no kids and don’t follow the cars as they leave). I think that probably was
arranged to have some form of “control” over it all which unfortunately feels very necessary in todays media world.

that seems very civilized and I'm sure the 1D boys knew all of that while deciding whether or not to attend.

That makes me feel somewhat better. If I were a pap I would pass on this particular job. Bad juju all the way around.

This so much. It’s something not to fuck around with. On top of everything, they’re the one on receiving ends of getting a paycheck for it just doesn’t sit too well. Too spooky and weird all around if I could find such appropriate terms on it that I cannot explain it

I remember when Liam Neeson's wife died and the paparazzi where hounding them.

He/they decided to pose for one photo, so long as they all left. And they did.

That is so fucked up. Having to pose for a picture like it is fucking Christmas, just so those vultures would leave them alone.
