I'm really looking forward to it, but with tempered expectations as I felt Bodies Bodies Bodies from the same director was pretty underwhelming. Hope I can score a screening before Christmas, because I'm not taking the fam to this one, lol.

I feel like such an outlier for thinking Bodies Bodies Bodies was just ok, and I keep hearing bad things about her Dutch erotic thriller Instinct which has a very questionable plot...

I liked the start and the very, very ending of Bodies Bodies Bodies, but it lost me for most if the rest.

Lol I actually really liked Bodies Bodies Bodies, I thought it was hilarious.

When the main character and her girlfriend started to kiss in Bodies Bodies Bodies, it took me out because it felt male gazey. I know the director is a woman, yet the way it was shot, it wasn't sexy or romantic to me. It felt "Look at the lesbians kiss". It took me out and then the way the characters acted made me dislike it.

So I'm now going from, "I really want to watch this movie!!" to. . . "I'll watch it and wait for the BDSM aspect to go awry."
