The writers having Robby be straight-up sexually assaulted and then trying to portray it as him cheating on Tory and doing something stupid was the worst thing this show has ever done lol. It gave me flashbacks of what The Boys season 4 did with Hughie, where it's 2024 and television writers still write characters in situations when they couldn't consent to sex but they don't flat-out say it was rape. Robby was drunk and didn't remember anything that happened the night before, and Zara was sober and remembered it all. So what am I supposed to think? That's SA, people.

Johnny apologizing to Miguel for not being there for him because "you know, I thought Robby needed me more" when there wasn't a single scene between Johnny and Robby this season is so typical of this show. There's never been any effort on the writers' part to actually show, instead of telling us, that Johnny has actually stepped up as a father. Robby has always been a punching bag but seeing everyone blame him for everything when he wasn't the only one fighting poorly was rough. They ganged up on him for not telling them Kreese reached out to Tory, but Devon can sabotage Kenny by giving him laxatives and it's all immediately forgotten?

I've already seen the leaks about how the rest of the season will play out, and I'm not at all surprised by what's coming.

I think the writers have to be intentionally fucking with us because my bf and I were like what do you mean Johnny was paying ANY attention to Robby lmao?? It’s a running joke at this point lol

Robby is always getting shat on by the writing/Johnny/his team/everyone please cut the kid a break 😭

Also, I totally agree that Devon should’ve gotten WAY more flak for what she did to Kenny :( Kenny’s a better person than me because Devon would have needed to watch over her shoulder for the rest of time if it’d been me!

I feel like the writers cornered themselves because they wanted to have a Daniel/Miyagi type of found family relationship with Johnny and Miguel, which is great! But they gave Johnny a son that he abandoned for 16 years and they never put any effort in actually fixing that relationship.

I felt bad for Kenny when Hawk and Demetri kept being suspicious of him, so I was happy when he proved them wrong and kicked ass during the tournament.

I can't find the twitter account now, but this is what I remember (major spoilers ahead):

[Spoiler (click to open)]The tournament continues at the All Valley, where Robby and Axel fight and Axel injures Robby with an illegal move (but for some reason he doesn't get disqualified). Johnny re-opens Cobra Kai and there are pictures of him, Daniel, Chozen and the kids (including Robby, who has crutches) wearing Cobra Kai gis. Miguel and Tory are the captains and they win against Axel and Zara.

I was working on a craft project on and off while watching part 2 so I must have missed this because I was not looking at the screen for a lot of the non-dialogue parts (in retrospect, I should have been doing the opposite and working on this project while they were talking/looking at the screen when they weren't talking).

Yeah, I was waiting for that to be some engineered situation where "he passed out on the floor but she lets him assume they did stuff" and was really surprised when it was just nope, they're going with her having manipulated the hammered kid into bed
