I usually got to rock/indie concerts, and the most recent ticket I bought for Interpol (tomorrow!) was around ~$80 iirc. Pre-pandemic they were closer to $50, so I did have a slight sticker shock lol.

Still, worth it. I dont mind paying more, but I generally refuse to go over $200 per ticket. I think I paid like $250 per for a Lana concert, but the stupid fuckin dynamic pricing was on, so they werent that much at face value. If the dynamic pricing was banned, it would help SO much.

Imma wait til the day of and see if any scalpers are trying to offload for MCR.

$200 is my absolute limit, too. I'm an idiot and paid those prices for my first few kpop concerts and I absolutely regretted it because the shows were boring af lol. I would've given $200 to see MCR, MAYBE $300 if I didn't have any major bills coming, but expecting people to pay these prices right before the holidays, in a time where inflation and the economy are the #1 topic of headlines, is crazy.

I feel you! Everglow was in my city recently, and I loved their debut, but decent tix were over $150. Absolutely not LOL. Maybe for Red Velvet or TVXQ.

And def true on MCR, I'm shocked at how high the face value prices were!!

Wow i saw everglow last year and i believe it was about $85 (i was row 2)
