⭐ Death of the Reprobate: Really funny! classic monty python like humor. It's the finale in a trilogy of point and click puzzle games. It was a great ending.
⭐ Shattered Space (Starfield DLC): I think this DLC was good. It provided more food for thought about the science of grav drives, about the lore of what the unity could be and what is in the "space" between space itself. There were lots of good legendary weapon drops. Va'ruun'kai was a really cool planet to explore with interesting POIs. There are some Bethesda things about it that don't make sense. Like Varuunkai's location is supposed to be unknown, but you will run into crimson fleet and spacers. So it's like the worst kept secret in the universe.
⭐ Like a Dragon, Infinite Wealth: The hubby is playing this. He's really enjoying but is really dragging out the story because he just likes to grind and fight. There's a parody animal crossing level and he really hated it because it's so tedious lol
⭐ My Time at Sandrock: I just finished this and what a great game! Very heartfelt ending. This is a sequel to My Time at Portia. Sandrock was an improvement to the series. The town of Sandrock was filled with quirky characters with interesting back stories. By the end of the game I really did love all these characters. Also, excellent writing and great story. The kickstarter for the third game My Time at Evershine exceeded goals and I can't wait for the next game in the series.
I love My Time at Sandrock. I haven't finished it yet because I stopped to play Veilguard but it's such a cute little game and I like the characters too. Who did you romance, if anyone? lol I'm currently going for Fang and I love him so much.
Thanks for the Shattered Space review! Starfield in general is full of silly self-contradictions and a universe that doesn't make sense, but I still enjoyed it well enough and it's still sitting on my harddisk waiting for Shattered Space to go on sale. One thing I heard is that despite the trailer, this isn't primarily a zero-G environment, is that true? That'd be too bad because I was hoping for some kind of Event Horizon meets The Expanse style ghost ship experience.
Va'ruun'kai is not a zero-g environment. The planet environment is similar to Jemison. When you start the DLC, it's the first area that's a zero-g environment, which is a starstation. That area must be featured a lot in the trailer. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you're looking for a "Event Horizon meets The Expanse style ghost ship experience." I didn't want to put spoilers in my review, since the DLC is still kinda new.
Right now I'm playing/I've played:
