You go for the fun of it all. You get to see what characters people dress up like (and also how elaborate the costume vs who barely tried), who looks like the celeb vs passing resemblance vs no way in hell, who doesn't look like the celeb at all but just showed up with a banging ass body to be seen (note: this person can be male, female, or anything in between), women wanting to hit on the guys, dudes wanting to hit on the women hitting on the guys...it's a glorious mess. Why not?
