This news is a little old, but Twitter was buzzing about this. I can't believe these two potentially got to use stunt doubles to film a cuddling scene, when Sophia Bush was in the trenches doing love scenes with Chad Michael Murray after he cheated on her! Like where is the PROFESSIONALISM?

Also someone pointed out Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson had to do a wedding scene only days after they broke up

I read The OC book and she mentions this! She said she basically was picking out a wedding dress that she was never going to wear.

Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer broke off their engagement irl and their characters got married. Awkward af.

Yes and also you don't even have to go that far. Their co-stars dated, broke up and yet look at them being professional.

i saw some discourse from the other side where they were talking about intimacy coordinators and how its their job to make them feel comfortable and if they werent comfortable, then they shouldnt be forced to do anything physically and i just... like sure, but then also dont date someone you know you have to see every day. choices were made.

"if they werent comfortable, then they shouldnt be forced to do anything physically"

hope this doesn't come off as dismissive to them but i believe that if actors are going to date coworkers, they should still be able to do intimacy/romance scenes that they'd feel comfortable doing with any other actor. so if cuddling is off the table bc those scenes in general make them uncomfy, that's reasonable. but if the cuddling scene is a no-go bc they dated the other person, it's unprofessional imo

(of course this doesn't count if their partner was abusive btw)

Yup. I’m all for actors not being forced to do things they’re not comfortable with, but if even slightest touch is too much, they might not be a great fit for this particular job? Not every couple is Ned and Chuck from Pushing Daisies.

Right #that man was literally writing Sophia and Chad's real-life mess into the show and they still had to do it.

Even their co-stars Madelyn and Chase. They actually dated a while and broke up and still play a couple on the show and have been professional about it. As far as we know these 2 didn't even date. Like get your shit together lol
