Along with those films mentioned by the OP, he was a film my mom loved so much but I don't think it was well received. It's Virtuosity. It starred Russell Crowe and was a big flop. I remember she took me and my brother to theater to see it.

I'm thankful for all his films even the bad ones since my late mom loved her some Denzel lol, so she would watch any movie he made. I still have all of his DVDs because she loved him so much.

I thought I was the only person who remembered Virtuosity. It was part of a wave of "cyberspace"-type movies, like The Net, Johnny Mnemonic, and Strange Days that came out around that time to cash in on the 90s tech boom.

i love virtuosity with all my heart and soul, and it kicked off what was a messy decade-long crush on russell crowe which honestly i don't regret. he was fucking delicious at his peak
