Uk newspaper The Guardian has announced it will no longer post on Twitter/X due to the website's toxicity since Elon Musk took over. They said the negatives outweigh the positives and cite "disturbing content" and the way the site handled the election as its final decision.

five euros a month is crazy lmaoooooooo but i just looked at the livejournal front page and not only are the other two top communities on lj offshots of ontd, neither of them are at all active (ontd_political hasn't had a post since 2020 and omona posts barely get a comment!)

we really are the only thing keeping this site together
