I couldn't get into this show because Zooey bugs the fuck out of me.

That used to be me, but was bored and powered through and midway through season 1 she gets less annoying. You could start with season 2 and get the gist, her character is improved by then. It’s one of the few sitcom-y shows I’ve watched as an adult that makes me quite literally laugh out loud.

hahaha really? I thought she got progressively more annoying as seasons went on, and actually childish in her behavior, but the same could be said for Nick too
