I hope they have a rich investor lined up to pay those termination fees... because I do not think they have a case to get out of their contract without penalties.

Isn't it gonna be like tens and tens of millions of dollars? MHJ's scorched earth approach is craaaazy, yikes. I do wonder what happened if HYBE would've just privately told her "we know what you're up to, knock it off" instead of auditing ADOR though?

Idk I haven't followed things super closely!!

LOL YEAH it will be lots of $$$$$.

But maybe there's some rich investor lined up? idk. They still won't have rights to all their old intellectual property though even if an investor pays off their debts for them so...

And yeah idk what would have happened if Hybe had approached her privately first but also like... the trust was completely broken at that point. Hybe would have had to do SOMETHING, imo. How could they trust that she still wouldn't try her plans a year down the road? I think once they were tipped off about the investors meeting, MHJ was never going to be trusted as CEO of Ador ever again.

HYBE is just too incompetent. They should've waited and collect enough evidences on whatever MHJ tried to do.

Well the reason they did the audit was to collect the evidence rbf. Going into ADOR's floor in the HYBE building, seizing the hard drives etc. But I wonder if they just kinda ignored her, like she only has 20% while HYBE has 80%, good luck to her trying some sort of hostile takeover. And MHJ ofc has reacted like a cornered animal when she saw the walls closing in around her and decided to go full nuclear.

But ya I think if they were a little more patient in their evidence gathering or did it a little more surreptitiously then maybe it would've played out differently. Like the crazy thing to me is if HYBE just left it alone, her grand conspiracy or plan probably would've failed anyways.

Plus like... ok. Even before this went down, NewJeans was putting out 6 songs per year. It's not like MHJ seems to prioritize a lot of musical output. And now in this fantasy scenario with a super rich investor who can finance NewJeans, MHJ is gonna have to start over because they can't use their own IP and like she's still gonna have about a dozen civil law suits she'll be dealing with in addition to a potential criminal prosecution. I think it'd be at least 2 year before they could re-debut and TBH by that time, I think most of the NewJeans members will have aged out of MHJ finding them interesting and she'd be ready to move on to a whole new group.

Idk. I think most likely scenario is NewJeans never puts out music again (even under a new name) and a couple of them are able to transition to a somewhat successful model/influencer career.

I believe in their contract they must give 14days for the problems to be fix otherwise they are allowed to terminate and seek financial damages

Yeah but the demands they're demanding Ador fix are non-starters for Ador. The letter is to Ador because their contract is with Ador. So one of their demands is that Ador make an employee from another company apologize to Hanni for something that cannot be proved to have happened. Like... huh???? Another point is wanting MHJ back. She's already been offered a producer contract and the court already ruled that Ador was within their rights to fire her as CEO.

So I don't think that a court is going to look at their demands and think that they were reasonable and that Ador did not fulfill their contractual obligations to them by not fixing these issues.

I just... I think they're going to file for termination but I think it's unlikely that they are able to terminate without paying the penalty.
