Saying she staged an intervention implies he relapsed again when she was pregnant/after he left rehab...?? I get holding a partner accountable to a commitment to sobriety, esp when there are kids involved, but like...this is why you don't fuck a (married) man literally a week out of rehab??? Bringing a kid into it when they "barely knew each other" and hadn't built up trust between them AND he was super newly sober was fully insane behavior.

I mean, we knew!! Why they decided to pretend they got together 'in the spring' when he left rehab in February and their baby was born in November is a mystery to me. I know Americans are bad at math, but come on now.

How quickly, & often, calculations were done here. Someone even looked up some kind of conception calculator, put in the baby's birthday to narrow down the date.

the wording in another article i read about this was slightly different so i'm not sure if he actually relapsed or not. def possible but in something else i read it was framed as "she staged a mini-intervention to involve herself more in my recovery" because he was also saying it was like 6 months into her pregnancy and they still barely knew each other or knew if they were officially together lol - so like her intervention was to know more about what was going on

all in all, sounds very healthy

I'm 40 and the idea of being 6 months pregnant with the child of someone I wasn't sure was sober and wasn't sure I was in a relationship with sounds like my worst nightmare. I'd honestly rather it be a one night stand so I could just focus on the baby.
