i feel like the term "ep" gets used these days to apply to any project an artist doesn't want counted as an album in their discography lol, that or mixtape

Mixtape I get but EPs have always been like 20, 25 minutes

I haven’t seen it referred to as an EP, only an “album” (ironically, I saw an article that stated that she says it’s not an album, yet her Instagram posts refer to it as an album so take that as you will).

Most places are calling it her sophomore album, and Pitchfork specifically calls it an LP, but who really knows!
