my friend made a good point... he thinks it'll be like each character getting their own pov episodes instead of everyone filming together. especially since they're aged up and no longer in high school, there's no way these kids are still seeing each other... plus all the actors are too busy lol

i think it has to be this, it's the only thing that makes sense. jacob, sydney, and maude are all filming movies beginning of next year plus zendaya now doing the christopher nolan movie to whatever extent she'll be in that

Zendaya is only going to be in Nolan’s film for a few minutes apparently.

jeff sneider is the source for that info and he's the same person who said euphoria was cancelled a few days ago and here we are lol he just makes things up. variety and deadline said they have no info on the movie because it's being kept under wraps so no way jeff sneider knows anything. also i highly doubt zendaya would have been announced third behind the two main leads of the movie if its just a cameo

Jeff Sneider has been wrong about so many things.

I wouldn't mind that although I would still like scenes with Rue and Jules and Jules and Nate if only to wrap up their storylines.

this is the only way it would work with maybe a few of them doing cameos in each other's episodes

kind of like the Skins spin-offs when they were adults

the other possibility is having them reunite for a high school reunion and centering a season on that...but idk if Sam is a smart enough writer to do that lol

Negl I loved these. This fast-forward season came when I was like 18/19 and so uncertain of my future, seeing these kids I felt like I grew up with struggling thru the darkness of adulthood was oddly soothing for me.... yes Effy going to jail for manipulating stocks and all that was a mess, but Idk Cassie and Cook's stories were moving to me. And I still enjoyed the bizarre noir-ish weirdness of Effy's story too

I wish they could do a reunion series in their 30s but after the bad reception to the final series, and all the actors speaking out against the Skins production practices I think its better left a memory

I enjoyed them for what they were but loathed what they did to Naomi and Emily thought & they miswrote Naomi completely (she went from top of her class and super bright in school to loser as an adult trying to do stand-up? huh?? and Effy's mental illness was never addressed at all which was frustrating). the writing was shoddy overall in Effy's episode even though it was entertaining.

Cassie's was decent though I barely remember it. Cook's felt cinematic and very in character and I've watched it so many times, but Cook was always one of the strongest characters (and actors)
