The way Kamala threw trans people under the bus before the election speaks volumes.

I still can't get over how she couldn't come out explicitly and say that trans people should get gender affirming care. "I will follow the law."

Sharing this here in case people don't believe you.

Kamala Harris on Fox News on gender affirming medical care for Trans prisoners:

She says she will follow the law, just as the Trump administration did on this matter.

The question was specifically about trans inmates (who are still trans human beings, for anyone who's about to argue), but she over-tossed her word salad to the point where the takeaway was that she'd pull the same "I'll follow the law" bit for ALL trans Americans. Like, girl... have you not seen some of these anti-trans laws???

Not to get too heavy on an open wound, but this is what people are talking about when they complain that she-but primarily the DNC, lbr-were wasting too much time and energy capitulating to a Republican party that would never vote for her.

Yep, Democrats need to stop letting Republicans define the narrative when it comes to things like trans rights. The second Democrats capitulate even in the tiniest of ways, the Republicans shift the argument even more to the right.

Oh man, hindsight literally is 20/20.

It is still BEYOND absurd he got elected again, but there really wasn't a chance in hell, was there?

I'm Canadian and got a lot of optimism from here. Oof!

I really let myself believe she was going to win.

I really did believe she would win, too. (I’m in all blue MA and realize I live in a bubble.) I was so excited and now I’m existentially exhausted.
