I am sad that Lisa has been so miserable this season, but I can’t help but think of how Denise struggled with Rinna. You could almost see her being like “wait, what??” There’s clearly a Housewife Lisa and a real life Lisa, and Bronwyn has bumping up against it.
Anyway, Lisas stay shady as fuck.
I genuinely love that Bronwyn’s husband has boundaries and is not afraid to remove the source of the problem. Lisa’s like one of those yappy small dogs that will instigate and instigate and then the minute you react, they start screaming and limping away like you kicked them. Justin should apologize! Then everyone can apologize to me!!
Ummm…what else. Oh, Heather remains the worst part of this show. She has been obnoxious for literal seasons and I am tired of her. Girl, you are not the queen of Salt Lake or RHOSLC. I’m honestly surprised she hasn’t inserted herself into Meredith’s Bat Mitzvah or started giving consultations about Judaism. Watch out, Heather knows everything about it and not only is she Bad at it, it’s her brand.

a) she was the "ugly duckling" growing up and probably has a complex about it - that's why she had tons of work even before starting housewives, and continues to get a new face & now body each season
and b) she grew up mormon for REAL so she is still indoctrinated to suck up, to make nice, to be in the right by showing how selfless and giving she is which is ultimately self-serving. she always talks about how she "always shows up for her friends" but we rarely ever see it, with whitney for example - with jen, she was so manic that she basically demanded heather to be her emotional support

Same thing happened with Sai and Erin on RHONY, they came in thinking they were going to be top dogs and then good god, they were terrible. But they’ve toned it down, kind of. Heather just keeps going at full speed and keeps failing to recognize she’s not landing.
It’s gotta be super fucking annoying to her that she’s been there for years, and Bronwyn comes on and people love her weirdo ass. Heather was so much more relatable in the first season, with her struggle with her religion and struggle with dating and finding her way with her business and her meat on a stick. Bronwyn is super rich in a way the vast majority of people will never be but she still connects with people.
Even if she ends up being the villain of the season (I think Mere or Lisa said that but I also see them saying that to try and sway opinions, knowing that Bronwyn was landing well) I’ll probably end up still really enjoying her. I loved Monica for trolling Lisa. That was fucking delightful.
I have so many thoughts about RHOSLC apparently.

We've barely seen Bronwyn's husband so there wasn't much for me to judge him on, but I definitely understood where he was coming from this week. This was supposed to be a trip to celebrate his anniversary so I get not wanting to listen to constant fighting.
When Bronwyn said that he's usually a machete, I was afraid that he would be really aggressive about confronting John and Lisa. Instead I thought he was very calm and reasonable when he told John that if Lisa didn't knock it off, she and John would need to leave. It's not much different from asking someone to leave your party or event because they're causing a commotion. People are here to have fun!

And tbh I’m a fucking machete when it comes to people hurting the people I love, so I can’t begrudge him that. He was protective of his step-daughter, for good reason, and he’s protective of his wife. And he’s a grillionaire and Bronwyn can be her weird self. It sucks that he’s not a hot older woman with a hot eccentric wife and beloved step-daughter, that would be god tier, but that’s not the biggest disappointment of 2024.
