With Trump winning the popular vote, I can see celebs coming out of the woodworks to publicly support him. The same goes for studios making more movies/tv shows to cater to that base. Trump is about to get even more normalize in the media. I fully expect all of the fashion houses to dress Melanie to make her the next Jackie O. The Trump family is about to be the new Kennedy.

Several streamers/networks were already pulling back on LGBTQ+ programming and canceling stuff, so I can imagine what is left is gonna get the axe unless it is the #1 show for 100 straight weeks, and even then the next season order will be cut in half and the budget slashed and a white straight man will be added in to appeal to people in Texas.

oh I swear this is happening already with movies. I've been watching my local theater's listings for the last month or so because... eh, curiosity, and there were a couple of movies I wanted to see.

Sebastian Stan's A Different Man didn't air at my theater, but The Apprentice did. Which I know it's not positive towards DT, but still. My theater even aired Dumb Money last year, so it felt like A Choice. Then there was this documentary thing about President Lincoln possibly being bi that didn't even come close to my theater, but a docu thing about DT entitled "The Man You Don't Know" was in theaters for about two weeks before election day. Sigh.

i thought that too at first, but i've had multiple friends cut off close family members and make it explicitly clear why they're doing it. i think the anger might have legs this time around.
