I woke up at 7:30 A.M. and made sure to call out for my 9:30 A.M. "shift". There is no way I can reasonably respond to other people today, let alone here in Tennessee.

I called in about that same time (CST) and told my boss I'd need to WFH today because I was in no condition to be around other people and he very grimly responded, I understand.

Jackass though he may be at times, he's still ostensibly fairly left leaning (as well as the father of exclusively daughters) and I'm sure he's none too happy either. I'm glad he gets it.

I was drinking whiskey straight from the bottle for the first time since college. It’s bad. Need to buy more booze at the store today.

Sleep walked thru work yesterday. Atmosphere there was like a funeral. Took a sick day today and I’m so glad bc I can’t handle it right now. Feeling exactly how you do.
