don't know if you can convince your insurance, but as part of my botox for migraine every three months my neurologist gives me shots in the jaw as well and it has helped reduce clenching

yeah I'm pretty sure it's an approved treatment for TMJ and Botox has CHANGED MY LIFE when it comes to migraines
