Celebrity Six Summer is over, it's time for Mysterious Song Autumn!
A Reddit mystery that left people searching for the singers of a song at a German music festival in 1984 might finally be coming to an end. (Hence the names, The Mysterious Song and The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet)
Redditor u/marijn1412 was reading a newspaper article on bands featured at the festival, and found a band called FEX that won a talent contest. One of the band members performed at the same festival the year before, in a band called Phret.
After exchanging emails, the band member sent the Redditor a tape cassette of some of his music, and that mysterious song was on there. It's actual name is "Subways of Your Mind."
People in the Reddit post are ruling out AI because the music the OP uploaded does sound like it's from a tape cassette. Further verification might still be needed.
