Actor Jonathan Bennett is hosting a new Hallmark Christmas competition series, “Finding Mr. Christmas,” where 10 contestants compete to become Hallmark’s next lead holiday movie star. “Not only do you have to be a great actor and look amazing on camera, but everything that you do off-camera also really matters. You need to lead with kindness and heart and generosity,” said Ben Roy, who created the series with his friend, Jonathan Bennett.
Each week, the show puts the cast through a series of Christmas and Hallmark movie-related challenges - from designing their own Christmas sweater to perfecting the meet cute - until only one contestant remains. The winner earns the title of Mr. Christmas and the lead male role in Hallmark’s upcoming Christmas movie, Happy Howlidays, opposite network favorite Jessica Lowndes.
