Oh no. I hate that this disease is now so strong amongst younger people. If you are fortunate enough to have insurance, this test is available US at age 45 or over.

However, you doctor can still probably at least give you a Fecal Occult Blood Test which is not that expensive

Also, STOP ENERGY DRINKS. The evidence is building that an ingredient in them is contributing.

I have literally no scientific evidence to back me up, but energy drinks are one of those things I will go full crunchy on. I think they’re poison and do nothing but harm.

One of my daughter’s friends ended up in hospital thinking he was having a heart attack in his early 20s - turns out he just drinks a ton of energy drinks every day and his heart was going bonkers from all the caffeine.

My brother used to down those 5-hour energy shots on a near daily basis. Sometimes twice a day. At a certain point I don’t even think he felt the effects and was doing it out of habit. He turned 40 this year and I’m thinking about him getting tested. I don’t think he drinks it like he used to. I hope he doesn’t anymore but I don’t see him daily anymore since we live in different residences. Our cousin died from this (stage 4) almost two years ago and it was heartbreaking to see. We don’t have a history in our family but it has absolutely scared me
