Just finished her doc and tbh, as someone who isn't American and wasn't exposed to her content, I found it fascinating. Would love it to touch on her relationship with her daughter, frankly, as I was a bit confused regarding that part.

From my understanding her and her daughter had a rough relationship. Some people aren’t cut out to be parents and I think her daughter resented her for that. Martha like many women her age went with the flow of getting married young and having a baby.

I believe they have a better relationship now.

Yeah, it seemed like she was the one supporting Martha throughout the case and her time in jail, but it's like there was a gap between them telling how she wasn't cut out to be a mother and then her daughter's commentary about the court and her visiting Martha in jail. I know it is probably because the documentary is focusing on Martha herself and only touches upon some aspects of her life, but I felt that part was lacking.

What I found interesting was why they went after her for the so called insider trading. I’m sure her being a woman and the first billionaire woman at that, had a lot to do with it! I couldn’t roll my eyes harder when the guy who later became head of the fbi, was talking about this case is about lying, you can not lie to the fbi!

Oh 100%. I'm not trying to defend what she did but the punishment she got was soooo outsized compared to men who have done the same thing. I think a lot of it was more around wanting to put a powerful woman "in her place."

Listening to the remarks by that person was so frustrating, it made literally no sense for me how they couldn't prove there was inside trading and file against her, but somehow she still basically was sentenced for that. And I am laughing at that boy's statement, I'd like to hear how he feels about his male clients, everyone must be an angel! I don't like assholes, but frankly I've worked with idiot interns and team members before, with zero self-awareness about their idiocy, and it took everything in me to stay civil and not strangle them.
