I’ve thought about this before and I feel like being part of the squad would be no fun. The only thing you get out of it is endless pap walks but I bet once they’re inside the restaurant or wherever they walk to, they don’t even have a good conversation, they all just seem like boring people obsessed with keeping up appearances and clinging to fame. They probably wouldn’t even gossip with you. I noticed some squad members from the original group like Zendaya and Hailee Steinfeld fled and never came back, good for them! Anyway I feel like her life is too controlled and not spontaneous to have fun.

But I just know I would have a good time partying with some of the people Charli has had around this past summer like Lorde and La Rosalía who are also actually interesting people. I bet if they were high I could pry the gossip out of them too!

Idk I haven't really thought about how being in the squad would be. I think Taylor would be nice enough to talk too but I feel like she'd be annoying and a total Queen Bee when it comes time to do a pap walk loool. You know that group chat is fireeee level: bitchy when she's pissed or feels slighted! Like the squad around 1989 def seemed pretty transactional cause I don't think I ever saw Zendaya talking with Taylor looool!! I just remember her being at one award show maybe the VMAs or another and then she quietly dipped. I remember when Kim one-up'd Taylor and some saw that Zendaya was liking tweets rolling their eyes at Taylor's personality or something like that I don't remember it exactly but it was def content being critical of Taylor.

Like, if for some reason I got a chance to join the squad I would 100% do it for the gossip lol, but as someone who’s usually good at prying gossip out of people I have very little faith I could pry gossip out of Taylor or anything interesting out of her friends. The only squad member I still kind of liked until recently was Gigi Hadid but I’ve been off put the last few years about how desperate she is to cling to fame, from participating in and co-signing Taylor’s antics to the weird relationship with Bradley. Oh I always say for as much as criticize Taylor on here, I'd totally join the squad just to see the inner working and scheming! But I wouldn't last too long cause I have no patience for the pap walks, I'll go to the awards and major/party events but I shan't do a pap walk! I have too much dignity for that.
