This is how I remember there is (was) an MTV Canada. I’m sad about the loss of MuchMusic though. What a staple that was of my youth. It was always superior to MTV.

I remember watching something called Fuse in high school (I'm an American) and thinking it was WAY better than MTV. Was it related to MuchMusic? My memory tells me Fuse was Canadian too lol

I wasn’t familiar with Fuse so I googled and turns out it was originally called MuchMusic USA so yes, it was related!

Fuse basically replaced MuchMusic in the US.

And 299 Queen West has been sold, so they're all moving to Agincourt :(

Aww really? Iconic building. It was top of my list to see in Toronto when I visited as a teenager

I didn't know the building was sold. That's sad. I worked there (at SexTV on the 2nd floor) in the early-mid aughts and I got to work the MMVAs and the VJ search. Coming of age in Toronto in the 90s and 2000s was kind of iconic in retrospect. Sad that it sucks for the kids coming up now.

I don't think the building is getting torn down though. I think just CP24 is moving?
