My parents are visiting family in Nashville atm and they went to New Orleans last week and they didn't like it at all.

I happened to be in town at the same time and the night before her first concert on Bourbon Street was so wholesome and full of women having fun. They were throwing necklaces from the balconies for best costumes and yelling lyrics. Straight men were being actively repelled away. I swear it has never been as welcoming and safe as that night. We were all so drunk and everyone was looking out for each other.

yes!! i just went to nola specifically to see taylor and the vibes in the city were so warm and friendly and fun and welcoming. it was such a wonderful experience from top to bottom, i loved my time there.
