The Vatican unveils its representative mascot
The Vatican has unveiled the official mascot of the Holy Year 2025: Luce (Italian for Light).

On the brink of the 2025, the Holy See has revealed a mascot in distinctive kawaii style, as their newest face, in order to keep up with modern times. Luce, “light” in Italian, is a pilgrim girl with Camino de Santiago scallop shells as pupils.
Luce has proved to be an Internet sensation worldwide since her unveiling, already producing several fan art pieces and obtaining fans.
