They don't make celeb documentaries like this anymore. It definitely feels less calculated than some, probably because Madonna didn't have final say.

Agreed! Honestly, the subject having final cut is really ruining celeb documentaries. I mean look at the Sly Stallone one. Enormous amounts of his life and story didn't make it into the doc, making it a hilariously incomplete and slanted profile of who he is.

i watched half of the movie so far, and while i enjoyed it, i would much prefer if Olivia didn't scream-talk during most of the songs
more than once, i wanted to scream, "let's stick to singing"
