Rather than say "the club had some likely unlawful practices with regard to its employees. " Did it or did it not have unlawful practices as it pertained to women? "Unlikely" is too vague for me here.
It was more likely that there was not illegal about the Bunny Costumes - which was part of the problem. The "internal exam" = was it a Playboy Club thing or was it required in New York City? How were women affected during that time period with work "dress codes", etc.
I feel strongly that the actual facts need to be represented and talked about because otherwise, people do not know how far women advanced their rights last century. As it is today, in 2024, I feel younger women in their less than 30, do not care or know what their moms and grandmas went through. The fact that people are mocking women who in 2024 might be afraid to not vote like their husbands need to know how strict things were only 50 years ago.

OH! I have been spending too much time with my Internal Medicine doctor and did not think of it being as vaginal exam.
