I just recommend Gaus Electronics to everyone all the time, and it has romance, so I recommend it to you as well.

Lovely Runner is an obvious one, romcom of 2024 so far.

Maybe Unlock My Boss if you liked the male lead in Castaway Diva. Suspicious Partner...?

I’m putting these all on my list now!!! Thank you! I know my list suggests I know my kdrama but I really did just binge most of these recently and so I’m not even aware of your obvious choice!!!

Ooh then you'll love Lovely Runner and the Freaking Fairytale/Cinderella one. Have fun!

Ahh I started Gaus Elevtronics when it was airing but it was week-to-week so I sorta forgot and dropped it. I love the male lead actor, Kwak Dongyeon, from watching him in Vincenzo so I wanted to check him out. Maybe I should start over!

I find Kwak Dongyeon so endearing, so I feel sorry for him that his lead career doesn't seem to be taking off on screen. (He does seem to get more serious theater roles.) He did have a really really matching role in Queen of Tears since!

Gaus Electronics is such a fun kpop trope bingo, with lots of layers of jokes. I hope you'll like the rest of it as well.

Ah wait, my fave romcom of this year was actually Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale https://mydramalist.com/754061-she-dreams-of-cinderella by far.

you have amazingggg taste. but i could NOT get into what's wrong with secretary kim at all. min young had such better chemistry with kim jae uk in her private life, which i watched first, so this didn't compare.
also i tweeted once that i was sick of seeing chansung play asshole losers and someone told me to watch secretary kim.. waste of my TIME, he held SFL's hand in the last episode.

Awww maybe it’s because I watched Secretary Kim before Her Private Life. I think HPL is better for comedy but her kpop obsession was maybe too over the top for me. Both are good to me though.

Actually what was the most annoying part of Secretary Kim for me was actually the guy who wore the same shirt to work every day.

I’m soo with you on Because This Is My First Life!!! My partner and I were appalled at the last two episodes - what were the writers thinking with the FL??? She came across as super emotionally manipulative and cruel - like just TALK to him ffs??? Ughhh that one pissed us off lol

Ugh it was so good and then they were like let’s just ruin her character completely! It didn’t even make sense with her character at all. I also was pretty wtf at the toxic couple getting back together

It's Okay to not be Okay is so overrated, the female lead was so toxic. A drama that I absolutely loved was Mad for Each Other, though the last 1-2 episodes went off the rails though. LOL

lol how off the rails? I mean if you still loved it I’ll probably give it a chance haha

It's hard to say without spoiling anything but there were some ridiculous scenes LOL and the show also deals with violence towards women and there's one hard scene to watch but overall it was great and dealt with mental health problems a lot better than the It's ok show.

It also only has 13 episodes, each about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. :)

It’s been only a day but I binged it all and sure I got no sleep, but I really enjoyed the show!!! It does have the annoying kdrama last few episodes trope lol but it didn’t bother me too much. The only confusing part was…where did she end up going when she moved?
