Also I feel like I've gotten a lot of K-drama watching done this past week.

Gyeongseong Creature season 2 (bad).

A Virtuous Business - well the 6 eps released so far (very good!).

Hellbound season 2 (pretty good- solid follow up to the first season).

I think I might watch Miss Night and Day next?

Noooo 😭 I was so excited when it came out

I'm gonna watch it this weekend but will go in with nonexistent expectations. I hope that's enough to buffer any potential disappointment

Sad that you didn't like Gyeongseong Creature; I've been waiting all year and was saving it. Hopefully it's just a different opinions thing 😭

Miss Daddy and Night was a miss for me. Too many plot holes and the female lead's acting left a lot to be desired imo

Gonna add hellbound to my watchlist 😄

Loving A Virtuous Business so far--there's a lot of actresses I like in it and I am hoping the current storyline goes somewhere to show how stigmatized victims are because I have a feeling I know what everyone's reaction will be when people find out.

I recently watched "What Comes After Love" which was SO GOOD. I cried so much watching it. It's so well-written, well-acted, and every episode is so beautiful it's like watching a film. I highly recommend it. I really want to read the books it's based on but they've never been translated. My one nitpick is the ending feels rushed, but otherwise it's a really great melodrama.

Miss Night and Day started out really strong, but fizzled out by the end

that's so disappointing to hear. ah well. maybe i'll hold off on starting a new drama anyway since Dragon Age has been released today. i'll stick to just keeping up with new eps of A Virtuous Business.

Currently watching The Judge from Hell and enjoying it, but made a big mistake and started it while it's still airing so now I have to wait week-to-week and not gonna do that again. I wanna binge all 16 eps in a few days.

Also jealous that you actually finish your kdramas lol. For some reason so often I watch 13 or 14 of the 16 eps and then tap out. It's like by that point I have an exact idea of how I want it to end and I stop watching so I won't get disappointed. Or sometimes I just find it drags at that point.

I'm a completionist and also very susceptible to the sunk cost fallacy.

So if I make it to like ep 3 of a drama, I WILL finish it.

Even if I have to watch it at 1.5 speed or fast forward a bit.

See I'm ADHD lol and sometimes I just find it gets boring, maybe should try 1.5x speed.

I don't fall into Sunk Cost Fallacy very easily, even if I enjoy the 13-14 eps without finishing a drama I won't consider it a waste if I enjoyed the drama (till it started dragging or the writers were fucking up my ideal ending).
