He is so pretty to look at omg.

Tbh, after watching some dramas ten years ago, I don't watch them anymore (and unpopular opinion but I enjoy a lot more japanese dramas than koreans) but the mystery seems not to bad here, there's Gong Yoo #hearteyes and I'm always a bit baffled by the concept of marriage too (in the words of Contrapoints, it is, indeed, a sacrifice 🥲 ). Who knows, maybe I'll watch.

Korean drama in the last 3 years have been really bad..
I have seen 5 amazing ones in the the last 5 years ...but also the misogyny and mistreating of people in most of them have been drained. I started to watch next door neighbour(?) in the first episode and I had to drop because everyone seems detestable

I am a more of romantic drama but unfortunately I think the only " romantic" one i loved , pure romantic was Crash landing
- tons of murders on Flower of evil
-Itawon class).
-last year I loved revenant( horror only toped by the guest)
Glory -
My dear( tearjerker)

Honourable mentions:
Little women ,Bad mom, Vincenzo, best depressing(My liberation notes),
Twenty Five Twenty One,Hospital playlist and kingdom(1)
Currently watching Twinkling Watermelon,

All time favourite Signs and Florest of secrets

Can I also suggest a newer one, it's called The Frog on Netflix. You have to suspend your disbelief a bit to enjoy the story but it's along the same vibe as The Glory and just really great to watch for the acting and intrigue.

I really enjoyed Daily Dose of Sunshine. It's about a nurse working at the psychiatric department of a hospital.

Ia they are very generic but my biggest beef is how everyone is truly despicable in them. I used to watch a lot of thai drama's and they are closer to brasilian's telenovela, i mean there's at least one character you're truly rooting for.
Maybe it's just the fact that in kdrama there's never really values I can get behind.

If you could rec us your top 5 that would be pleasant <3

So agree with, even on my fave dramas, there always things such horrible parents/siblings but yeah that is family and she meant well.
I am portuguese so Brazilian novelas used to be my jam, please recommend Thai because I need a breath of air...all my fave kdramas have been so intense.

I wrote above the ones i loved above.

"

This , because there are times I love certain values such family, love but they sometimes redress toxic, mistreat , abuse and called it that..
Or they put a "soft " ingenuine , bland lead and try to sell it as normal human being..
I don't like the oversexualization of American tv but them pretending that there is no libido and advance between the leads until the last episode or that they don't kiss( behind doors) it is Bullshit.
Chinese drama balance this better and are abit more realistic.

On top of that reading korean news in past years about woman, minorities rights and how the consensus is there is no right and fair treatment ...I think that pulled me off kpop and k drama( also I am getting old for this shit)

So bad. People were raving about Lovely Runner so I started it but the main female lead is an absolute ass and I can't get through it.

I did like it but I do agree with you,I was able to get through one annoying female lead but I couldn't get through a second one with love next door 😊
