The songstress graced the latest issue of the Italian fashion publication, in it, she said that her new album ‘Lasso’ will be more ‘southern gothic’ than country:
“There was so much ‘American flair,’ too much of that American aesthetic. I stopped because I didn’t recognize myself. I wish this record was a reflection of the person I am today. I could turn it into something more ‘southern gothic’ style, as it should have been in the beginning, and less country.” This influenced by her living in Oklahoma.
