Best version: Hatter in the 2009 Alice SciFi miniseries, second place: Martin Short in the 1999 version, third: Mad Hatter from Adventures in Wonderland (90s live action Disney series)/Disney animated movie, honorable mention: the Hatter in the British Royal Ballet's Alice in Wonderland ballet (niche, but his tap dance was 👌)
I've watched at least 15 versions and at the absolute bottom is definitely the Fuderwacken creep

Anne's costume is one a normal person would wear and I mean that in the best way. She's clearly going to a party with NY friends instead of just taking instagram pics.

yesss at adventures in wonderland. that was my show as a kid.

i don’t understand why his is so prevalent. it’s ugly and the only memorable part with that version was that godawful cgi dance.

Like it's not even a hot version of Hatter, and certainly not the most memorable. I guess it's just the one with the easiest to purchase costume?

I do like Mia's Alice and some parts of those movies, but they were mostly WAY too much generic cgi and lacking the wonder of other versions. Adventures in Wonderland was such a childhood fever dream, but TweedleDee/Dum, the Queen of Hearts, and the white rabbit on rollerblades stood out more in my memory so he got 3rd place lol.
