Niomi Smarts whole saga in the last decade is wild. I’ve never watched her content regularly but she would occasionally show up on my YouTube feed where I had gathered she’s all about wellness (in a very toxic and forceful way that makes it obvious she’s compensating) and she was engaged to some dude and then that didn’t work out then got engaged to some other dude and now lives in Bali?

She totally spiralled since her first engagement broke off. He pulled the plug not long after she went dress shopping. The new guy shes with has no real job and is basically a wellness grifter. He used to run some thing called “knickers for liquor” where girls gave them underwear for alcohol. He’s basically isolated niomi from all friends and family. She left him over christmas and went back to london but within 2 months got back with him (engaged and everything) and has gone back to bali with him and now she just.. does nothing except talk about how the moon can heal period pain and all this wellness bs. She also made a video with another grifter old man who touches ppl to heal their trauma, and it’s sooo awkward, she’s basically crying on camera while all these ppl touch her and you can hear her say “i forgive you mother”.

I felt so sad for her when her first engagement broke off. I remember she had moved to India for him when he got a job out there and I thought that was such a big sacrifice for her career wise!

true but idk there were red flags all over for their relationship. it always seemed to be food related too, like every time he bought peanut butter she would hide the jars from him, she had a whole cupboard filled with stolen PB jars. and when they had popcorn on a movie night she hid that for some reason?? and then another time she got mad bc he didnt want smoothie bowls for breakfast. i think lockdown together did them in

These two had forever negative chemistry since the first time she showed his giant teeth on her channel. Their house is so gorgeous, the kitchen with all the windows I'm so jealous.

I liked Tanya Burr at the beginning. She seemed nice. But between Jim, their dog disappearing, and her "acting career" (she was just so bad it was hilarious to watch) she turned into an insufferable knob. Also her weight loss and how she continued to show burgers and pizzas, like girl we know you didn't eat this.

And Niomi is on a dark path. It's very cultish and I still shiver when I think of the dude she posted, who had very long nails and 5 wives. Everything about Bali and their "bubble" is wrong.
