On October 24, Jimmy John’s announced the Picklewich, which uses a kosher dill pickle in place of bread. The sandwich will be available at participating locations nationwide from October 28 through November 14.
Jimmy John’s is offering this monstrosity in two ways...
The Vito: This pickle-based remix of its original Vito sub features a gutted kosher dill pickle filled with salami, capocollo, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, sauce and herbs.
The Turkey and Provolone: This one takes a gutted kosher dill pickle and packs it with turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion.
Jimmy John’s is also bringing back its Pickle Jimmy Chips to pair this disgusting sandwich with. The chain also hired pickle-lover and Jersey Shore's Snooki Polizzi as the spokesperson for its Picklewich rollout.
