Lol now people are jumping on the bandwagon seeing how that journalist went viral, I can't with this. He's also praising Johnny Depp like that journalist too.

Some people just don't like small talk. That's your WORST experience? That someone didn't initiate small talk??? Jeez.

In part that's probably why Johnny has gotten so much support. He had basic courtesy for cast and crews which seems to be BIG in the industry because I guess you must have some terrible openly diva-ish or toxic celebs/film-makers that even another celeb doing the bare minimum is a rarity.

This is not me absolving Johnny btw, just an observation.

Depp has also screamed at actresses in front of crew too.

Well there you go. But I've probably heard more supportive about him from other celebs so I can see how that override the negative because it's been done for other celebs.

He's terrible regadless.

He also punched a crew member a few years ago, so it's wild that people are like 'he was nice to me!'

He has/had support because his movies used to bring in big money to the studios.

True but the actors coming out to support him, they're not on his payroll. So I can see why a lot of them were "but he was nice to meeee!!"

Maybe when he was sober, but the reason he can't get work in Hollywood is not that he's a rapist-abuser but because his behaviour on sets was so violent and abusive and dismissive that he can't get insured anymore.

I’m not fond that call out culture has devolved to “this celeb acted like a human, how rude!”
