So, now he's basically Harry Styles if Harry were actually attractive and could dance (he really can dance, I'm impressed!)...It's an interesting situation because I like nearly every aspect of this (especially the aesthetics, both this and silverlines have an interesting look to them, he definitely has taste and knows what he wants and can communicate it well) accept for the song. Everything being good but the music was a similar issue with Maneskin. The English songs (excluding Honey) were pretty bad. The other thing, from a business stand point is that it's VERY hard to go from rockpop to pure pop. Tokio Hotel had this problem and so have MANY other artists. Rockpop fans want... more rockpop. They DON'T want pure pop music, they think they're too cool for it and are not a fanbase that's likely to adapt to new sounds or "go on a journey" with the artist while they "find themselves." They like what they like and that's it. So, he's likely in a situation with this solo album that he might not get the level of support from Maneskin fans that his label expects, meaning, he has to make a bunch of new fans and that could be hard, because the songs not that great, and while the video looks great and shows how talented and gorgeous he is, it feels like an offshoot of Harry instead of making his own entirely original concept.

Maneskin fans need to remember their faves got big because of X Factor and Eurovision! They're pop at their core but they're playing rock 'n' rollers really well

I couldn't agree more!! They've always been more pop than rock but rock fans so consistently take themselves sooo seriously haha.
